Living independently at home is important to many seniors
When families can’t be together, the
revolutionary, easy-to-use Lifeline™ has enabled
millions of people to live with greater independence,
peace of mind and dignity in the place they feel most
comfortable – their own homes. Because the Lifeline™
service also helps family caregivers to balance the
needs of their loved ones with the demands of their
own busy lives, Lifeline™ is of immense benefit
to them as well.
How
Lifeline Works
Getting Help is as Easy as ABC
A. If you need help, you push the personal help button,
worn either around your neck or wrist.
B. Your Lifeline™ device – either the Basic Unit or the
CarePartner Telephone – is activated and automatically
dials the Lifeline™ Response Center.
C. A professional, trained, U.S.-based Personal Response
Associate will answer your call and have instant access
to your complete profile and information. The response
associate will then speak with you to access what level
of help you need.
Even if you don’t answer, Lifeline™ will send help at once. Whether it is a neighbor, family member or emergency service, Lifeline™ will send the help you need right away.
The CarePartner Basic Unit works with your existing telephone and offers you all the benefits of 24-hour personal response, with two-way voice communication. The unit offers:
- An adjustable high volume speaker phone
- Remote call answering which allows you to pick up the phone by pushing your help button
- 15-hour battery back-up in the event of a power failure
- Monthly test call reminders
If you have any questions, would like to talk about your particular needs, or are ready to begin service, we welcome your call at (203) 438-5555 ext. 1222.
